ICAO 054 Approach Surveillance (APS)

Introduction:

The ICAO 054 Approach Surveillance course targets ATCs who will be using radar and other surveillance systems to manage aircraft during the approach phase. It covers radar monitoring, vectoring techniques, and the integration of surveillance data for effective approach control.

Course Aim:

The aim of the course is to prepare Air Traffic Controllers (ATCs) to effectively manage the critical phase of flight as aircraft approach for landing.

Graduates will:
